JAKARTA - The body of Brigadier Setyo Herlambang, who is a personal bodyguard (walpri) of the North Kalimantan Police Chief (Kaltara) Inspector General Daniel Aditya Jaya, was autopsied at the Bhayangkara Semarang Hospital on Saturday, September 24.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Kalimantan Police, AKBP Budi Rachmat, said that the body was then autopsied at Bhayangkara Hospital, led by Kombes dr. Sumy Hastry. As a result, there were gunshot wounds that entered the victim's left chest.

"Team stated that there were wounds caused by firearms in the form of gunshot wounds to the chest on the left side that penetrated the heart, lungs and back with gunshot wounds coming out, epicentric," Budi said in his statement, Sunday, September 24.

Budi said the shootout of the weapon that penetrated Setyo's body was very close. There were also signs of great bleeding and bleeding in the heart.

"Because death is a gunshot wound to the chest of the left side that penetrates the heart and lungs results in severe bleeding," he said.

In this incident, Setyo was found covered in blood in his official room on Friday, September 22 at around 13.10 WITA. Beside him, the HS-9 firearm was lying with the HS178837 rifle number in the office inventory.

The results of the initial examination of the Kaltara Police Dokkes team showed that the HS victim had not found a pulse. Teams from the Ditreskrimum and Bidpropam Polda Kaltara have conducted a crime scene investigation.

On Friday night, the victim SH's body was taken to the tarakan hospital for an external post-mortem. Then, the body was taken to Central Java for an autopsy at the request of the family.

After being autopsied, the plan is for Setyo's body to be returned to Kendal for burial. Budi emphasized that Brigadier H did not die of suicide.
