Ganjar Highlighted By KPK Because Of The Video Sharing Money To Residents While Running Pag

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) highlighted the video of former Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo distributing money during the morning run. He was reminded not to use this kind of method because he would run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in response to Ganjar's video uploaded by netizens on social media X or Twitter. In the upload, the white-haired figure appears to be running in the morning while distributing money to the residents he meets.

"I think that is the opposite of what we are trying to do so that this democracy runs honestly, cleanly, with anti-corruption," Ali told reporters quoted on Saturday, September 23.

Ali said that the KPK had actually repeatedly asked politicians not to share money with a certain purpose. Socialization has been done in various ways, including through the Quality Smart Political Program (PCB).

Previously reported, the KPK also highlighted the style of distributing money to the General Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan or Zulhas. He was seen distributing Rp50 thousand to residents during a visit to an area.

The video was uploaded by the TikTok account PAN @amanat_nasional with the words 'Pan, pan, pan-sharing gocapan'. Zulhas was seen wearing a blue-lined shirt and wearing a black Vest gave Rp50 thousand to fishermen and residents he met.

At that time, the KPK reminded that the distribution of money was contrary to the campaign 'Prosperous Fajar Attack' which was being carried out intensively. In fact, a number of representatives of political parties have made declarations with the KPU and Bawaslu.
