Riding KCJB With Jokowi, Prabowo Admits He Doesn't Talk About Politics

Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto admitted that he did not discuss politics when he boarded the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) together with President Joko Widodo after visiting PT Pindad in Bandung, West Java.

"Incidentally, there was no political issue," Prabowo told reporters at Halim Station, Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 19.

Prabowo said the conversation he had with Jokowi while on the train was about the infrastructure of the fast train.

"Probably whether we continue (the route) to Surabaya and so on. I think so," he said.

Prabowo himself is the first time trying to get on the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train. He said the train was very comfortable.

"Yes, the first time I went up was extraordinary. Very comfortable, proud to be a child of the nation. We have high-speed, sophisticated, modern, clean trains. Feeling abroad, very good," he said.

President Joko Widodo left for Bandung, West Java to inspect PT Pindad by riding the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train.

Arriving at PT Pindad, the President had time to ride the latest vehicle produced by Pindad "Maung", and was accompanied by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

When returning to Jakarta, Prabowo Subianto accompanied President Jokowi by high-speed train, returning to Halim Station, Jakarta.
