Angkot Driver's Son Raped By Neighbors, Revealed As Neighbors Peek From Kost Room Window

JAKARTA - A parking attendant with the initials DJ alias NJO (55) is desperate to rape a 13-year-old girl on Jalan Tanah Cereal Xll, Gudang Areng l, Gang PP, RT 02/10, Tanah Sereal Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. The victim is the son of an angkot driver. The shirt was revealed when the witness caught the perpetrator in his rented house.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said the perpetrator and the victim knew each other. The perpetrator is a neighbor in the boarding house where the victim and his family live.

"The perpetrator had sex with the victim during the day between 13.00 and 14.00 during working hours. Because at that hour the boarding house environment was usually quiet because the occupants were working, including the victim's father and mother," said Kompol Putra when confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 18.

In the boarding room, the victim lived alone with his 8-year-old sister. The victim's father works as a driver every day, and sometimes goes home to see their child.

"In the action, the perpetrator gave some money to the victim before or after having intercourse with the victim in the amount varying from 10 to 50 thousand rupiah. Giving to persuade the victim to want to have sex and not report to his parents," he said.

This sexual incident was only revealed after another neighbor of the victim caught the perpetrator in the victim's boarding house. When peeked into the room, it was discovered that the perpetrator was committing sexual abuse against the victim.

This neighbor of the victim then reprimanded the perpetrator. Then, the perpetrator immediately fled. This neighbor of the victim also contacted and informed the victim's father about what he saw.

After receiving this information, the victim's father and mother immediately asked their child (victim) to make sure.

"The victim confirmed this information and previously the perpetrator had had intercourse with the victim more than once since February 2023 in the boarding room when the father and mother were working," he said.

The victim's father with the initials SU (57) finally reported to the Tambora Police. After reporting, the police began to investigate and arrest the suspect.

"The perpetrator was arrested by the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Saturday, September 16. The perpetrator admitted that he had sex with the victim," he said.

Currently, the perpetrator has been detained in the Tambora Police prison cell to account for his evil deeds.

"We ensnared the suspect under Article 81 in conjunction with 76D of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Determination of Perpu Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection into Law with a minimum penalty of five years and a maximum of 15 years in prison," he said.
