Bringing Sickles And Golf Stik, Three Minors Arrested In Gambir

JAKARTA - The Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested three underage brawlers on Jalan Pintu Air 1, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, Sunday, September 17. In addition to securing the perpetrators, the police also confiscated a number of sharp weapons of the type of sickle as evidence.

"Evidence seized by sharp weapons of the type of sickle, golf rod and paint made of iron," said Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Mugia Yarry Junanda to reporters, Sunday, September 17.

Furthermore, Kompol Mugia explained, the arrest was carried out by joint personnel from the Precision Team and assisted by members of the Pokdar Polsek Metro Gambir.

"They are suspected of being involved in a brawl, but we are still investigating," he said.

Meanwhile, the police are still investigating further the motives of the perpetrators. The case is still being handled by the Gambir Metro Police.
