The Riau Regional Police Mobile Brigade Unit dispatched 200 personnel to the Pulau Rempang area, Batam City, Riau Islands, to support the security of demonstrations serving under Operation Control (BKO).
The Commander of the Riau Police Mobile Brigade Unit, Kombes Pol. Ronny Lumban Gaol, Thursday said the 200 personnel were trained officers and the existing options. The additional personnel will later assist in securing demonstrations within the jurisdiction of the Riau Islands Police.
