Kejari Kantaki 2 Names Of Suspects Alleged Corruption Procurement Of Bibit Arwana Rp1.02 M In Kapuas Hulu

The District Attorney (Kejari) has pocketed two names suspected of being a corruption case in the procurement of arowana fish seeds at the Kapuas Hulu Fisheries Service, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan).

"We have pocketed the names of the two suspects, but the determination of the suspects is no later than the next two weeks," said Head of the Kapuas Hulu District Attorney's Office, West Kalimantan, Safi in Putussibau, Kapuas Hulu, Monday, September 11, which was confiscated by Antara.

Safi said the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) had conducted an examination and found state losses in the case.

"The arowana case has been audited by BPKP, but we will convey the results later when the suspect is determined," he said.

The Arowana fish seed procurement program was carried out by the Kapuas Hulu Regency Fisheries Service in 2020 with a budget of around Rp. 1.02 billion, but in its implementation it was suspected that there was a fraud.

In addition to the arowana fish case, Safi also explained that the Kapuas Hulu Kejari is also handling the alleged corruption case of Datah Diaan Village funds which are already in the investigation stage and are still in the process of being investigated by BPKP.

Based on the data obtained, the corruption case of village funds related to the construction of a hydro micro power plant (PLTMH) in Nanga Ubat Hamlet, Datah Dian Village, North Putussibau District, Kapuas Hulu Regency, in 2019 with a budget of approximately IDR 1.2 billion.

Regarding the use of village funds, said Safi, the Kapuas Hulu Kejari has received many reports of indications of misuse of village funds, but his party is coordinating with the Kapuas Hulu Inspectorate to conduct a village financial audit.

He explained, if there is a loss, there will be an effort to take one of the examples of Kirin Nangka Village, Embaloh Hilir District, which has returned state losses of Rp. 66 million.

"So in the Corruption case, not only criminal penalties but there are efforts to return state money, according to applicable regulations and regulations," said Safi.
