Cak Imin Has Promised, Village Funds Want To Be Raised To IDR 5 Billion If Elected

The candidate for Vice President from PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin gave a political promise regarding village funds which would later increase to Rp5 billion per village. "We have calculated village funds for 2023, IDR 2 billion per village is enough. It can increase drastically by IDR 5 billion per village. This is a target that wants to be fought for in the new government," he said while in Jombang, East Java, Antara, Sunday, September 10. Cak Imin during a meeting with the kiai and the Chair of the East Java PKB DPC at the Al Aqobah Islamic Boarding School Futsal Building in Kwaron Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency, also added that his party was intensively establishing political communication, including with PKS. "Keep going. I'm trying to get close (PKS). In the near future we will go to PKS," he said. Vice President Muhaimin Iskandar's candidate will meet with kiai and the Chair of the East Java PKB DPC in Jombang as political consolidation. In front of them, Cak Imin, his nickname, told the meeting, coalition, and declaration with Anies Baswedan as a candidate pair for Presidential and future Vice Presidential candidates in the 2024 General Election. He suddenly met with the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party DPP Surya Paloh for dinner until finally an offer emerged to join as a candidate for Vice President to accompany Anies Baswedan. "If we want to shake hands, if we don't want we don't have to meet until the election," said Cak Imin, imitating Surya Paloh's words at the time. He admitted that he asked for two days to consolidate and report to the PKB kiai. A number of kiai agreed until finally Anies Baswedan – Muhaimin Iskandar's declaration was made at the Majapahit Hotel in Surabaya. Before meeting the kiai and the Chairman of the DPC PKB throughout East Java, Cak Imin also conducted political safaris to a number of Islamic boarding schools and dzuriyah founders of NU in Jombang, namely Ponpes Resojo Peterongan, Jombang, to the Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang. At the Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Cak Imin met the caretakers of the pesantren, namely KH Muhammad Hasib Wahab, Nyai Mahfudloh Wahab and Nyai Hizbiyah Wahab. He asked for his blessing so that his candidacy as a presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate with Anies Baswedan in the 2024 election.

Kiai Muhammad Hasib Wahab immediately answered that the whole family supported and prayed that Muhaimin's intentions would be granted. After meeting his family at the Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Cak Imin then made a pilgrimage to the grave of the founder of the Islamic boarding school KH Abdul Wahab Hasbullah, which is located not far from the pesantren.
