Caught By Residents After Killing Neighbors, 23-year-old Man Escapes And Hides In Waterway

TANGERANG Anik Fatmawati, an elderly (elderly) 51-year-old woman, was found dead with stab wounds. It is suspected that the murder was carried out by her neighbor, NW (23). Anik was found dead covered in blood in his house on Jalan Danau Poso 1, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency.

HN (61), one of the local residents, explained that Anik was found dead on Thursday, September 7, at 22.30 WIB.

HN also explained that the murder incident began with an argument between Anik and NW at the residence. Shortly thereafter, he continued, there were screams from inside the victim's house.

"My son told me, how come it looks like someone is fighting. Keep hearing screams. Not long after, he was silent. Maybe like a threatening person," explained HN.

Feeling curious, HN and his family members contacted the head of the local RT and went to the victim's house together to find out more clearly.

"Try to call Mr. RT, what's wrong? His son shouted 'There was a thief', then the perpetrator immediately fled out," he said.

Residents who heard immediately chased the perpetrators until they were finally arrested. NW was caught while hiding in a sewer.

"Followed by residents, he ran away. He caught him, he was hiding in the sewer," he said.

After the arrest, the perpetrator was immediately handed over to the Kelapa Dua Police for further action.

"While the victim was taken to the Regency Hospital for an autopsy," he said

Meanwhile, the Head of Kelapa Dua Police, Kompol Viktor, confirmed the incident. He said the perpetrator was still being investigated.

"That's right, now an investigation is still being carried out," he concluded.
