Goodbye To Mbah Munif, Ganjar Prayed For Next Task

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, sowan as well as said goodbye to the ulama and students at the Girikusumo Islamic Boarding School, Demak Regency. Ganjar also asked for his blessing to the head of the boarding school, KH Munif Muhammad Zuhri.

Ganjar asked KH Munif for prayers after his governor's term ends today. After that, Ganjar said he would continue his next assignment.

"I said goodbye (dept.) to him. At the same time pray (ask for prayer) after my (governor) assignment, I want to continue the next task," said Ganjar at the Girikusumo Islamic Boarding School, Tuesday, September 5.

Ganjar said that his meeting with KH Munif began when his candidacy as Governor of Central Java for the first period in 2013. Ganjar's meeting with KH Munif then became more frequent and intense when Ganjar was elected governor.

Even in May 2023 yesterday, Ganjar was given a stick belonging to KH Munif when he was visiting Girikusumo Islamic Boarding School.

The two of them often discuss and communicate about many things. Among other things, the national meeting initiated by KH Munif to Ganjar, which is often held in Central Java.

"After that I often invited and discussed, after that I became governor for two terms. In fact, he initiated national meetings to discuss many things," explained Ganjar.

"So there are halaqah-halaqah (meetings) that are made. Traveling, sometimes here, sometimes at UIN, sometimes at my house and we hope it will continue," continued Ganjar.

On the same occasion, KH Munif also gave a message to Ganjar that he had entrusted Indonesia to Ganjar.

"This is my message," said KH Munif while patting Ganjar.
