AHY Actually Already Received Pinangan To Be Anies' Vice Presidential Candidate, But Canceled By Cak Imin

Circulating a letter written by the future presidential candidate for the Change Coalition for the Association (KPP) Anies Baswedan to the Chairman of the Democrats, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

The letter contains Anies' proposal to AHY to become his assistant vice presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

In the blue letter, Anies hopes that AHY will be willing by his partner to take part in the 2024 presidential election.

"Mas AHY, the honorable. May he be healthy, remain productive and always in his blessing. Through this short message, we intend to convey our hope that Mas AHY is pleased to be a partner in participating in the 2024 presidential election," asked the former governor of DKI Jakarta.

"Blessed with respect," Anies concluded.

Apparently, AHY had already answered Anies' request. By saying basmalah, AHY was willing to accompany Anies to win in the 2024 presidential election.

This was revealed by the Head of BPOKK of the Democratic Party, Herman Khaeron. Herman revealed that AHY immediately answered Anies' letter on August 25.

"On the 25th (August), Mas Anies wrote a written letter inviting (AHY) to become a vice presidential candidate, and this was replied by the Chairman of AHY that 'bismillairrahmanirrahim of course we are ready to win the presidential election in 2024," said Herman at the DPR building, Friday, September 1.

However, less than a week later, Anies' proposal to AHY was canceled. This is because Anies is said to have chosen PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin with the approval of the NasDem General Chair, Surya Paloh.

Even though the Democrat Party has prepared itself to declare Anies-AHY as a pair of presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

But the Democrats would be surprised because on August 30, Anies sent his spokesman Sudirman Said to convey that NasDem had decided to pair Cak Imin.

"This means that NasDem has created a new coalition and left the Coalition for Change," said Herman.
