Mr. RT In Tebet Explains The Chronology Of Murder Of Elderly With The Motive Of Heartache Billed By Debt

JAKARTA - The murder case of an elderly couple (elderly), MY (61) and his wife H (43) which was allegedly carried out by his own neighbor Edy Rinaldi (39) on Jalan J, Gang Perintis, Kebon Baru, South Jakarta shocked local residents.

The head of the local RT, Ahmad Satiri, told the chronology of the stabbing of the perpetrators of the husband and wife. Ahmad explained that at that time the perpetrator was waiting in front of the victim's house with a knife wrapped in plastic, Saturday, August 26, evening.

At that time, the perpetrator monitored the situation around him while taking advantage of the final football match of the Indonesian national team. Local residents who witnessed the match did not suspect the perpetrator. Not long after, Edy immediately entered the victim's house.

"So the story is when the perpetrator goes inside, locked by the perpetrator. It happened (the stabbing)," said Ahmad when met at the location, Sunday, August 26.

Not long after, residents heard hysterical screams. Curious to know what happened, residents approached the source of the sound that was known to come from inside the victim's house. Because it was locked, residents entered the victim's yard in a crowd.

"They screamed, the residents heard "What is there?", the residents entered the yard. From the window, when they saw the husband and wife fighting, it turned out that someone else was in the house," said Ahmad.

One of the residents saw a wound on MY neck. Then after the incident, the perpetrator came out of the victim's house.

"The perpetrator came out, the resident was bullied "do you want to interfere too?", said Ahmad imitating the perpetrator's words.

The perpetrator ran away running. The witness saw Edy throwing a knife in the ditch.

"Yes, he ran away walking. His knife was thrown in a ditch. Someone saw him throw the knife. He was taken and then given to the police," he explained.

H finally got out of the house covered in blood. The survivors were finally taken to the hospital.

"The wife was taken to the sub-district hospital and then taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati," he concluded.

As previously reported, MY (61) died when he was attacked by his neighbor, Edy Rinaldi. MY wife, H (43), was seriously injured by a sharp knife carried by the perpetrator. Knowing that there was a commotion, residents of Jalan J, Gang Perintis, Kebon Baru, South Jakarta were suddenly excited. This murder case began with a debt problem.

The head of the local RT, Ahmad Satiri, said the alleged perpetrator was named Edy Rinaldi (40), his own neighbor. Ahmad said the perpetrator did not accept being billed for the remaining Rp300 thousand in an disrespectful manner.

It is said that the victim who is familiarly called 'Mak Gambong' collects debts with words that make Edy emotional. Because of heartache, Edy carried out acts of persecution that led to death.

"Receivable debt. The Edy borrowed there (the victim), but his mouth was a bit rough, so he didn't accept it," said Satiri when met at the location, Sunday, August 27.

Satiri said that the perpetrator borrowed money from the victim to play slot gambling.
