The Head of BPBD for Tasikmalaya City, Ucu Anwar, said that BPBD deployed tank trucks with a capacity of about 5,000 liters to send clean water assistance to areas affected by drought.

According to him, areas that experience drought have difficulty getting clean water supply, including Singkup Village in Purbaratu District, Leuwiliang Village in Kawalu District, Setiawargi Village in Tamansari District, and Sukamaju Village in Indihiang District.
"Like in Kawalu, the condition is dry, the river is dry too," he said.
BPBD in collaboration with regional drinking water companies, the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), the TNI, and Polri in distributing clean water aid to areas facing the impact of drought.
The Tasikmalaya City BPBD received assistance from the police and the TNI in distributing clean water assistance to residents in Cibangbay Village, Setiawargi Village, Tamansari District.
