Anies Baswedan Ensures His Supporting Coalition In The 2024 Presidential Election Is Solid

JAKARTA - Former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan ensured that his coalition of supporters in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) was solid. If there is news otherwise, it is only a matter of assumption from other parties.

"We are solid indeed. When we talk solidly or not, we have a perception. We are solid," Anies told reporters after meeting with the Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council Salim Segaf Al Jufri in Jakarta, Saturday, August 26.

This solidity is confirmed to be established because of the large number of communications between the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP). Anies said, there were a number of meetings that were not published.

"KPP is ready to face the next phase," he said.

Furthermore, Anies talked about his meeting with a number of elite coalition parties such as the General Chairperson of NasDem Surya Paloh, the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), and Salim Segaf. He said the meeting was intended to hear input.

"This is for the provisions I brought for the future trip," he said.

"We are equalizing steps and strategies for the future and have an agreement on whether the direction of the move is the same, they are all of the same," concluded the former Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud).
