Persecution Against Brawl To Death, Students In Kendal Arrested By Thugs Clothing Police

In less than 10 hours, the Kendal Police Criminal Investigation Team managed to arrest two perpetrators of the murder during a brawl between groups of students on Jalan Raya Glagah, precisely in Pamriyan Village RT 05/03, Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. The arrest was carried out on Monday, August 21, at around 12.30 WIB.

Kendal Police Chief AKBP Feria Kurniawan accompanied by Kendal Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Ghala Rimba Prayer Sirrang revealed, in this case two people were named suspects. They are, RD (17) and SB (15) both are vocational students. Meanwhile, the victims of Masrihat Uzma (16) are also students of class X SMK.

"The incident began on Saturday (19 August) at around eleven o'clock in the evening, the Genk Texan group via Instagram sent a message in the form of a challenge to the Moza group. After that, they promised to meet on Jalan Raya Glagah, Pamriyan Village, Gemuh at around two o'clock in the evening. Finally, the two groups met and there was an attack on each other. Then the suspect RD chased one of the victims who was followed by suspect SB who then slashed the victim in the lower ear with a sickle. After knowing the co-companiment, suspect SB also slashed the victim with a sickle that hit the back and then the victim died, "explained AKBP Feria Kurniawan, in a written statement, Wednesday, August 23.

The incident was reported by the victim's uncle, who was then immediately handled by the Kendal Police Criminal Investigation Unit. And less than 10 hours the Kendal Police Resmob unit managed to arrest RD and SB on Monday at around 12.30 WIB.

"The suspect was arrested by the plainclothes police (buser) from the Kendal Police under the leadership of the Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Ghala Rimba Prayer", he said.

Furthermore, the suspect and evidence were secured to the Kendal Police for further investigation.

In this case, the police confiscated evidence in the form of a black long-sleeved shirt, one black shorts, one red underwear, one 1 meter long sickle, one 1 meter long sword, one short sickle and one yellow keris with a wooden handle.

For their actions, the two suspects were charged with Article 80 paragraph (3) of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, Article 80 paragraph 3 In the event that the child as referred to in paragraph (2) dies, the perpetrator is sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of 15 (fifteen) years and or a maximum fine of Rp. 3 billion.
