JAKARTA - The famous motivator Sis Maryono Teguh alias Mario Teguh and his attorney Willy Lesmana Putra came to the Polda Metro Jaya to report a fraud case committed by Sunyoto Indra Prayitno.
"What we report Sunyoto is related to alleged fraud," Willy said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 11.
Willy explained that the fraud report was related to cooperation as an ambassador for skin care products owned by Sunyoto Indra Prayitno which was made in July 2023.
"Maybe quoting or following information from them that Mr. Mario is reported to have committed fraud to them in the amount of Rp. 5 billion, right? In fact, the first has nothing to do with Mr. Mario Teguh, both values are also not as they said," said Willy.
Willy explained that what should be deceived should be his client, because Sunyoto has an obligation to pay the results of his client's work achievements.
"In the MoU (the agreement) it has been stated that if the termination of the cooperation is carried out unilaterally by the first party, namely their party, there are consequences, one of which is that they are still obliged to pay," he said.
Willy explained that in the MoU his client should have received Rp5 billion but only received Rp1.6 billion and then decided unilaterally by Sunyoto.
"So if you are already working, of course there are achievements that must be accepted. Now this work is already running, suddenly in the middle of the road it is decided unilaterally," he said.
In addition, Willy also questioned the origins and information of their products that were unclear.
"There is also a problem with product origin or product information. Even Mr. Mario suggested or ordered to stop all sales activities," he said.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya had summoned four witnesses to clarify the alleged fraud and embezzlement case by the motivator Mario Teguh and his wife.
"In the report on the alleged criminal act of fraud committed by Mario Teguh and Lina Teguh, we have presented four witnesses for clarification," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Tuesday (1/8).
However, Trunoyudo did not specify who the four witnesses had been summoned to clarify in the case of promoting a skincare brand.
Trunoyudo only said that in the near future, investigators will send samples of skin care products to the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) for an examination related to product permits.
