JAKARTA - Commander of the Fleet Command (Pangkoarmada) Vice Admiral (Laksdya) TNI Herru Kusmanto led the handover of 5 strategic positions (sertijab) at the Indonesian Military Command Headquarters at the Koarmada RI Command Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday 9 August.

5 strategic positions handed over, namely Pangkoarmada I, Pangkoarmada II, Commander of the Indonesian Underwater Divers and Rescue Command (Dankopebba).

During the ceremony, Rear Admiral (Laksda) TNI Achmad Wibisono officially served as Pangkoarmada I replacing Admiral TNI Erwin S. Aldedharma, Admiral TNI Yayan Sofyan to Pangkoarmada II replacing Admiral TNI Maman Firmansyah.

Meanwhile, the First Admiral (Laksma) of the TNI Yosua Dominggus Aipassa officially served as Dankoppeba replacing Admiral TNI Darmansyah.

"The Commander of Koarmada I was handed over, and then Vice Admiral TNI Erwin S. Aldedharma received a position and received a mandate in Kogabwilhan (Community Regional Defense Command) I. Likewise, Rear Admiral TNI Maman Firmansyah received the mandate to support what was planned at Lemhannas (National Resilience Agency) RI as Deputy Governor of Lemhannas RI," said Pangkoarmada RI after the Sertijab ceremony, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the promotions received by Laksdya Erwin and Laksda Maman proved that they could lead Koarmada I and Koarmada II well.

"Here we can see that the Commander of Koarmada I, Koarmada II, and Koarmada III can carry out their duties well so that the rewards given by the leader are in the form of promotional positions with three-star status or level so that Alhamdulilah we at Koarmada RI are also grateful that what has been done, what has been carried out by Koarmada I, II, and III has received attention from the leadership so that they get rewards as desired," said the Commander of the Republic of Indonesia.

On the same occasion, Pangkoarmada RI conveyed that new officials are expected to optimize various potentials in their work environment to uphold the sovereignty and integrity of the Indonesian sea area.

"We hope that with the change of commander (Koarmada I and II), the replacement of several assistants in the Indonesian Koarmada, Koarmada RI can show its existence can play an optimal role again in carrying out its duties as upholding sovereignty and law at sea so we hope that Koarmada I with a fairly wide working area, Koarmada II, Koarmada III, supported by 14 main bases and also Guspurla (sea combat groups) and Guskamla (sea security groups) can optimize themselves in 2023," said Herru.

Pangkoarmada RI at the location and on the same day also led the handover of the position of Assistant Operations (Asops) Koarmada RI from Admiral TNI Isswarto to Admiral TNI Heri Triwibowo, then Assistant for Maritime Potential (Aspotmar) from Admiral TNI Bram Rusman Namin to Admiral TNI Imam Teguh Santoso. Laksdya Herru also confirmed Marine Colonel (P) Rasyid Al Hafiz as Koorsmin Pangkoarmada RI.

The Fleet Command of the Republic of Indonesia (Koarmada RI) is the Main Command (Kotama) for Operations and Main Command for Development in the Indonesian Navy consisting of three Koarmada areas, namely Fleet Command I which is centered in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands, then Fleet Command II in Surabaya, East Java, and Fleet Command III in Sorong, West Papua.
