DENPASAR - PT Jasamarga Bali Tol as the manager of the Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa (Bali Mandara) Toll Road in collaboration with PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance as a road maintenance service provider made road repairs in the form of shipping Filling Overlay (SFO).

President Director of PT Jasamarga Bali Adiputra Karang said the improvement was to improve security and comfort for users of the Bali Mandara Toll Road, as well as to meet the Minimum Service Standards (SPM).

There are two locations for SFO work as follows, namely first, KM 0+600-2+100 Line A from the Nusa Dua Toll Gate and Line B leading to the main road of Nusa Dua.

Second, KM 0 + 000 N-1 N on Line B of Two-Wheel Vehicles which includes the road from the interchange leading to Ngurah Rai.

Repairs in both locations began Monday 7 August and are targeted for completion on 31 October 2023.

"The work is carried out from 21.00 WITA to 06.00 WITA. This repair project is part of PT JBT's commitment to improving services and security for Bali Mandara toll road users," said Adiputra.

He explained that this step is part of the company's strategy to ensure toll road infrastructure remains in an optimal and safe condition for all users.

In order to ensure smooth traffic during the repair period, he said, PT JBT has prepared various risk mitigation efforts, namely first, limiting the work area and coordinating with the police. The work area will be limited to minimize the impact of work on toll roads.

Second, PT JBT will coordinate with the Highway Patrol Police (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) to make efficient traffic arrangements during the repair period.

Adiputra said PT JBT hopes that with improvements at the two locations, the safety and comfort of toll road users on the Bali Mandara Toll Road will be more secure.

The company is also committed to continuing to improve infrastructure and services so that people can enjoy a smoother and safer journey.

"PT JBT apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the existence of the work in question. We appeal to all road users to anticipate travel by ensuring that the vehicle is in prime condition, always be careful and obey the signs, especially around the work location to ensure the safety and smooth running," said Adiputra.
