Traffic Accident On Tangerang Toll Road Towards Jakarta: Car Hits Truck And Burns, One Person Injured

TANGERANG - There was a traffic accident between the vehicle and the Toyota Innova car on the Tangerang-Jakarta Toll Road KM 23+300. As a result, one person suffered burns.

Head of PJR Tangerang-Jakarta Toll Road Kompol Suwito confirmed the incident. The incident occurred Monday, August 7, at 05.00 WIB.

"That's right, it happened this morning. The victim was one of the Toyota cars, he was a passenger. The victim had burns to his leg," said Suwito when confirmed, Monday, August 7, morning.

Suwito explained that the incident started when the two vehicles came from Merak to Jakarta. However, upon arrival at the crime scene (TKP), the Innova driver was not concentrated, so he hit the truck in front of him until the two vehicles stuck together and finally hit the road divider.

"Because it was not anticipated to hit the back of the truck, the two vehicles narrowed each other or stuck together and lost control and hit the gadril (road divider). Then vehicle 2 (Innova) caught fire between lanes 1 and 2 east of the vehicle," he concluded.

The police who received the information went directly to the scene. The goal is to evacuate the vehicle that had the accident.

"Violating the crime scene, officers recorded the identity of the driver and vehicle and then reported the incident to the Zebra002 operator and evacuated to the Bitung crane pool," he concluded.
