Kemenpan RB Set Formation 572,496 ASN In 2023

SUKABUMI - The Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) has determined as many as 572,496 formations of the national state civil apparatus (ASN) 2023.

Menpan RBAzwar Anas said the number was for the formation of 72 agencies with the central government as many as 78,862 ASN and the regional government as 493,634 ASN.

"The allocation of CASN formation for the central government is 28,903 for CPNS and 49,959 for PPPK," he said.

As for the local government, 296,084 teacher PPPKs were allocated, 154,724 health workers, and 42,826 technical PPPKs. The selection process will begin in September 2023.

"Thank you to the agency that submitted the formation proposal. Hopefully the selection process will run smoothly," Anas said in a press statement in Sukabumi, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 3.

Kemenpan RB guarantees that all selection processes run fairly and there are no participants entrusted.

"We hope that ASN can produce an impact that can be felt by the community according to President Joko Widodo's direction," he said.

Anas said there are a number of policy directions for the recruitment of ASN 2023. First, focus on basic services with teachers and health workers to become the most widely provided formations.

"Almost 80 percent of the 2023 formation for teachers and health workers," he added.

The second policy direction is to provide recruitment opportunities for digital talent and "scientist" data. Third, reducing the recruitment of formations that will be affected by digital transformation.

Anas said the ASN recruitment was intended as an effort to be as optimal as possible to complete the arrangement of non-ASN staff or what is commonly called honorary staff.

It is known that the number of non-ASN personnel is 2.3 million and is currently in the process of being audited by BPKP with BKN.

"The government consistently provides affirmations, showing partiality to non-ASN or honorary staff, including to the former THK-II because they have served. The 2023 ASN recruitment is 80 percent of them for applicants from non-ASN personnel, and 20 percent for general applicants," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said that the recruitment of ASN candidates must be decided by considering non-ASN personnel who meet the requirements, simplifying the bureaucracy, and the needs of ASN.

"By paying attention to the ability to pay salaries and allowances in accordance with statutory regulations," said Airlangga.

Prospective ASN who are recruited, he continued, can certainly fill the key position as a "future leaders" who will later run a world-class bureaucracy in the context of the vision of Advanced Indonesia 2045.

Previously, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform had determined as many as 1,030,751 national ASN needs in 2023. However, there are a number of agencies that do not propose formations, including several local governments that do not optimize formation proposals.
