West Java (Jabar) Governor M Ridwan Kamil ensured that the Acting Governor of West Java, who replaced him later, during the grace period waiting for the results of the Simultaneous Regional Elections in November 2024, would just have to sit quietly.

"If the Acting Governor of West Java, God willing, sit quietly, sleep well, I think. Just continue what we have reformed. Mention all dimensions, all dimensions have been touched. There is no need for a new concept," said Ridwan Kamil at the West Java DPRD building in Bandung, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 1.

He said the main work in the realm of the West Java Provincial Government is believed to be fully completed, following the end of his term of office on September 5, 2023.

According to Kang Emil, it is very likely that the West Java Provincial Government's wheels will be like autopilot.

He hopes that the Acting Governor of West Java will be able to maintain the existing rhythm, for example, such as Persib Bandung, which when the champion in 2014, actually just maintains and maintains achievements. Without having to make a reshuffle, in a policy that has been established.

"So the important thing is to maintain achievements. It's like Persib, if you are already a champion, you don't need a new concept. So that the results of these five years are maintained," he said.

Kang Emil said this belief could not be separated from the placement of functional and structural officials within the West Java Provincial Government, which he said had been carefully planned.

"West Java Provincial Government officials already have the spirit, whoever the official is. Their work is still standard, like when we led with Pak Uu in West Java. So there will not be any decline that is very, very professional," he said.

Ridwan Kamil explained, over the past five years, there have been several performances that he has recognized as the best achievements during his time as governor.

The first thing he made proud of was the success of deleting disadvantaged villages and being heavily lagging behind in West Java.

Ridwan Kamil claimed, when he was governor in 2018 there were still a thousand people, now there are no villages left behind and very lagging behind.

In addition, he admits that making the best bureaucratic reform system in Indonesia also a proud achievement.
