Patients Go Raging, Alternative Shaman Gore In Sukabumi During Construction

SUKABUMI - An alternative medicine shaman in Sukabumi, West Java was slit by his own patient. The bloody incident occurred last Friday in Tanah Putih Village, Sasagaran Village, Kebonpedes District, Sukabumi Regency.

The victim is known as Abah Emik (80) who opened an alternative practice of treatment at his home. The victim got a slit wound to his neck. Apart from Abah Emik, another victim Asep (70) was also the victim of the alleged perpetrator's chaos. Both have been hospitalized.

Kebon Pedes Iptu Police Chief Tommy Ganhany Jaya Sakti said the incident began when the alleged perpetrator with the initials DH (38) was undergoing psychiatric therapy or rukiah at the victim's house. Suddenly, the perpetrator went berserk and took the victim's machete. DH then slit Abah Emik and Asep.

"That the alleged perpetrator is still on the loose and is suspected of carrying a sharp machete. The report from the victim's residents was two people who suffered injuries to the neck and head, the other one was on the leg," said Tommy when confirmed, Sunday, July 30.

Until now, the police are still investigating and pursuing the alleged perpetrator who managed to escape or escape.

"We are still identifying related to it. We cannot provide further information because what we prioritize is finding the whereabouts of the perpetrators. We are worried that the person concerned is still wandering around with a knife," he explained.
