BOGOR - Viral video on social media, which shows protests regarding the high ticket for Bogor Botanical Gardens and car entrance rates. PT Mitra Natura Raya (MNR) as the manager explained that the amount of ticket rates for Bogor Botanical Gardens is in accordance with Central Government regulations with PP No. 62 of 2021.

General Corporate Communication of PT MNR, Zaenal Arifin, said that in the management of the Botanical Gardens with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), PT MNR implemented it in accordance with regulations from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Not only that, but PT MNR also limits the entry of vehicles into the Bogor Botanical Gardens.

"That is also part of efforts to maintain oxygen in the Botanical Gardens area, where one of the five functions of the Botanical Gardens is environmental services," said Zae in his statement, Monday, July 25.

In addition, continued Zae, the price of entrance tickets to the Bogor Botanical Gardens is in accordance with the Central Government regulations with PP Number 62 of 2021, every entrance ticket to the Bogor Botanical Garden is included in BRIN's Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) to the State.

With details of the entrance ticket price (HTM) on Monday-Friday, it is Rp. 15,500 per person, bicycles Rp. 15 thousand per unit, cars Rp. 50 thousand per unit, and motorbikes Rp. 5 thousand per unit. Meanwhile, HTM on weekends and national holidays amounted to Rp. 25,500 per person, bicycles Rp. 20 thousand per unit, cars Rp. 50 thousand per unit, and motorbikes Rp. 5 thousand per unit.

The circulation of a viral video about the Kebun Raya ticket, continued Zae, is a concern for PT MNR. PT MNR said that due to the limited parking space in the Bogor Botanical Gardens, the manager imposed a voucher worth Rp. 100,000 for visitors to Resto Raasa in the Bogor Botanical Gardens for visitors who brought cars.

Zae added, restaurant vouchers worth Rp. 100,000, apply on weekends and national holidays at Gate 3 of the Bogor Botanical Gardens. The vouchers can be exchanged at Resto Raasaa or Cafe Secret Garden which is in the Bogor Botanical Gardens area.

Meanwhile, he continued, merchandise vouchers worth IDR 50,000 were also applied only on weekends and national holidays at Gate 1 of the Bogor Botanical Gardens. The vouchers can be exchanged at the Olive Store or merchandise sales stand located within the Bogor Botanical Gardens area.
