Dismantle The Cambodian TIP Syndicate In The Mode Of Selling Human Organs, Metro Police Chief: There Are Police Persons

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya revealed a criminal case of trafficking in persons (TPPO) of the Cambodian network that sells human organs. From the disclosure, 12 people were named as suspects, one of whom was a member of the National Police.

"Until today, the team has detained 12 suspects," said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto to reporters, Thursday, July 20.

From the suspect's class, it was recorded that 9 of them were Indonesian citizens (WNI). They play a role in finding andccommodating victims.

"Details of 9 domestic syndicate suspects who play a role in recruiting, accommodating, taking care of the victim's journey and so on," he said.

Then, there is one person who is said to be part of the overseas network. However, the identity was not explained.

It is only conveyed if the suspect plays a role in connecting the victim to the Cambodian hospital.

Then, the other two suspects called Karyoto were individuals. One of them is a member of Koprs Bhayangkara.

"Two suspects outside the syndicate, namely from unscrupulous persons. Police agencies exist," he said.

With the involvement of the National Police, Karyoto emphasized that in the ongoing development process, his party would not indiscriminately.

All parties who are declared involved in accordance with the available evidence will be dealt with according to the rules. This is because TIP is a crime that is very detrimental to society and the state.

"In developing anyone involved, it will continue to open up how the recruitment process occurs and then look for victims, then take victims, and pass victims," said Karyoto.
