Case Files Completed, Corruption Deputy Chairman Of The West Sumba DPRD Will Soon Be Tried

Investigators from the West Sumba District Attorney's Office of East Nusa Tenggara Province while detaining the Deputy Chairperson of the West Sumba Regency DPRD Lukas Lebu Gallu

The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the West Sumba District Attorney, East Nusa Tenggara Province, handed over a corruption case file for the sale and purchase of land involving the Deputy Chairperson of the West Sumba Regency DPRD, Lukas Lebu Gallu, to the Waikabubak District Court of East Nusa Tenggara Province.

"Based on a report from the Waikabubak District Attorney's Office, the case file for the corruption case of land sale in Marosi, West Sumba Regency, involving the Deputy Chairman of the West Sumba DPRD has been transferred to the Court for trial," said Head of the General Crimes Section of the West Sumba Kejari, Andri Kristanto, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 19.

Andri Kristanto said this was related to the investigation process of the alleged sale and purchase of land in Marosi, which involved the Deputy Chairman of the West Sumba DPRD.

He said the legal process carried out by the Waikabubak District Attorney such as the preparation of the case file had been declared complete and the Public Prosecutor at the West Sumba District Attorney had transferred the files and suspects to the Waikabubak District Court.

According to him, in the alleged sale and purchase of land in Marosi, four suspects, namely Deputy Chairman of the West Sumba Regency DPRD Lukas Lebu Gallu, former Head of the Infrastructure Section of the West Sumba Regency National Land Agency Jimmy Firmus Bulu, Oktavianus Poro Lete and Lukaslade Bora as owners of land/sellers.

According to him, the four suspects are still being held at the Class II B Waikabubak Correctional Institution (Lapas).

"The Public Prosecutors of the Waikabubak District Prosecutor's Office are still waiting for the trial schedule from the Wakikabubak District Court so that the case is immediately tried," said Andri Kristianto.

Lukas Lebu Gallu, Deputy Chairperson of the West Sumba Regency DPRD from the Nasdem Party, is suspected of having helped the suspect Lukas Lade Bora to sell the land to Silvia Spiriti, a foreign national and payment was made through the suspect Lukas Lebu Gallu amounting to Rp236,000,000, but it turned out that the land sold by the suspects was owned by PT. Sutra Marosi Kharisma according to the building rights certificate (SHGB) Number 3 of 1995.

The suspects are suspected of jointly committing the crime as referred to in Article 385 of the 1st Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code or Article 263 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code.
