About To Land At Intan Jaya Papua, The Smart Air Plane Was Shot By The KKB

JAYAPURA - The Smart Air plane, Tuesday, was shot by an armed criminal group (KKB) about to land at Homeyo Airport, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua. "It is true that there was a report regarding the Smart Air plane being shot by the KKB for a moment to land, but until now there has been no complete report due to the difficulty of communication," said Papua Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Pol. Earlier, last week the KKB also fired a caravan-type Asian One aircraft with flight code PK LTF, Friday, April 14 morning at around 06.30 WIT when it was about to land at Beoga airport, Puncak Regency, Central Papua. Danrem 173/PVB Brigadier General Sri Widodo said, from the report received, it was revealed that the plane with a pilot named Jonathan heard nine gunshots. After landing the pilot checked the plane, it turned out that there were two fire holes in the cabin part of the central trunk and the body beside the front wheel of the plane. "It is true that there was a shooting of the plane and hit the front and the left body of the plane but the plane managed to land in Beoga safely," he told Antara in Jayapura, Friday, April 14. Even though the shot hit the fuselage but after checking the plane was allowed to fly back into Timika.
