4 Youths In Jambi Arrested Involved In Trafficking In Persons, Mode Of Prostitutes

JAMBI - Jambi Regional Police (Polda) have again arrested four youths who carried out the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) in Merangin and Muaro Jambi Regencies with the mode of commercial sex workers ((PSK). In the disclosure of the case this time, the police arrested four suspects from two police reports Two perpetrators from Merangin MAF (18) and MHH (19), while the other two perpetrators were RAP (20) and NK (19) from Muaro Jambi Regency. The alleged perpetrators played a role in finding orders from the customer through a conversation application, then channeling and bringing them together with the victims who were still underage. The MAF and MHH suspects received a share of Rp300 thousand each of the agreed rates of Rp1.3 million from each victim to serve the customers. Meanwhile, for the case of arrests in Muaro Jambi, the victims would be brought to Batam to become tandem women, but failed because the perpetrators did not have the cost. It is known that the perpetrators even tried to sell the cellphones belonging to the victims but did not sell them. After receiving reports from the victim's parents, the police conducted an investigation and secured the RAP in the Thehok area, Jambi City. From this RAP statement, the police again arrested the alleged perpetrators of NK at his home in Situris Village, Maro Sebo, Muaro Jambi Regency. After being questioned, the two suspects admitted that they had sold the victim to the male customer at a rate of Rp1.3 million and his actions had been done several times. From this action, the perpetrators got a share of Rp300 thousand from each order.

Mulia explained that this incident was a worrying act. Because it is known that teenagers are involved in the case of trafficking in people in the area.
