The West Java Regional Police (Polda) confirmed that they were following up on information on the flow of bribes from the Bandung City Transportation Service (Dishub) to the police which was revealed during the trial at the Bandung Corruption Court regarding the bribery case for the procurement of CCTV and ISP.
The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, said that although the allegations were subjective, his party would take them seriously to prevent corrupt practices within the police.
"Even though this is just a subjective submission that is not necessarily true, the Kapolda has received this information," Ibrahim said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 13.
Currently, according to him, the West Java Police Propam team has immediately investigated this, because he ensures that there is no tolerance for matters related to corruption.
"So it needs to be investigated to clarify this problem," said Ibrahim.
