Central Lombok Satpol PP continues to control illegal parking attendants in Renteng and Jelojok Markets, Kopang District.

The management of parking fees at Jelojok and Renteng Markets is known to have been managed by third parties to prevent leakage of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) 2023.

However, after being selected as the winner of the tender, there are still parking attendants in the market who are still standing or do not want to follow the rules that have been determined.

"That's what we organize, so that the management of levies from this parking can be maximized," said Head of Central Lombok Regency Satpol PP Zaenal Mustakim in Praya, Central Lombok, NTB, Thursday, July 6, confiscated by Antara.

He said, since the beginning of 2023 the parking lot at Jelojok Market has still been controlled by unscrupulous persons. Meanwhile, parking management at Renteng Market has been managed by third parties.

"This parking management at Jelojok Market cannot be completed, because there is no common ground yet," he said.

The winner of the tender for parking management at Pasar Jelojok is ready to pay rent of Rp. 30 million per month. However, until now they have not been able to carry out management, because they received a refusal.

"The number of parking attendants in Jelojok Market reaches 100 people, while about 20 people can accommodate," he said.

His party is currently still not taking firm action, because they are also residents of Central Lombok so that currently there is still a persuasive approach.

"We are still persuasively first. If there is no common ground, we will carry it out according to the rules," he said.

He hopes that the community can support government programs, so that the PAD collected can be used for the benefit of many people. "Let us support local government policies for our common interests," he said.
