President Jokowi Meets Australian Governor General David

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held a meeting with Australian Governor-General David planat at the Admiralty House, Sydney, Australia.

Jokowi arrived at the Admiralty House, Sydney at around 10:35 a.m., Tuesday, July 4, local time, and was greeted directly by the Governor-General.

Reported by ANTARA from a statement from the Press, Media, and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Jokowi andiko walked through the ranks of troops to the courtyard where the ceremony was welcoming the state. The series of national anthems from the two countries and 21 cannon booms also accompanied the welcoming ceremony.

Furthermore,kowi invited Jokowi to examine the ranks of honor. Jokowi then held a face-to-face meeting with David Korya.

During the meeting that took place familiarly, the Governor-General in Indonesian said he was happy to receive Jokowi's visit.

"I am pleased to welcome you to the Admiralty House," said Governor General Juli. During the meeting, the President was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, and Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Siswo Pramono.

To CEOs from Australia, President Jokowi ensured that Indonesia is the best partner to invest in the Southeast Asia region.

Jokowi emphasized a number of priority sectors that have high potential for investors to invest in Indonesia.

"Indonesia has high potential as an investment destination with natural resource wealth, demographic bonuses, large markets, and maintained economic and political stability," said Jokowi.

Jokowi emphasized the priority sector, among others, in the field of downstreaming industry, then developing green energy, building the capital city of the archipelago (IKN), and the education and health sectors.
