JAKARTA - Member of the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Lolly Suhenty said Bawaslu Chairman Rahmat Bagja has now been transferred to Harapan Kita Heart Hospital after previously being treated at the Mintohardjo Indonesian Navy Hospital (RSAL).
"Thank God, for the process of helping him recover at this time, he has indeed been transferred to the Harapan Kita Heart Hospital," said Lolly when met at the General Elections Commission (KPU) Office, Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, July 2.
Bagja's condition has improved. However, further checks are still needed regarding health conditions.
Rahmat Bagja is known to have fainted at the Bhayangkara 77th Anniversary Commemoration event, at the GBK Main Stadium, Jakarta, Saturday afternoon.

He ensured that this condition did not interfere with Bawaslu's work in guarding the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). The reason is, explained Lolly, his party has shared tasks to the recurrence of Rahmat Bagja.
"We have immediately shared once Mas Bagja can't. We have to recover first, so we are 'handled', we all share roles," said Lolly.
Lolly admitted that his colleague at Bawaslu had asked him to become the Daily Executive (Plh.) of the Chairman of Bawaslu. However, according to him, it is being followed up for formal decisions.

Rahmat Bagja lost consciousness while attending Bhayangkara's 77th Anniversary. After receiving first aid, Bagja was immediately taken by stretcher into an ambulance and rushed to the Mintoharjo Hospital.
