Firli: Corruption In Great Crimes Because Of Structure And Systemic Impact

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri said corruption was a great crime. In fact, the impact could make people's life order fall apart.

"It must be admitted (corruption, red) that crimes are very great because they can be carried out systematically, structured with the impact of systematics," Firli said in a written statement, Saturday, July 1.

Firli reminded that there should be no more corrupt parties. Because this practice can damage human civilization.

Furthermore, the former Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK said that corruptors would look for various ways to carry out their actions. They tend to listen to and adapt to new modes.

The goal is to prevent them from being caught while carrying out their actions. The KPK has conducted research related to this matter.

"From research and empirical data, it is proven that corruption can create fantasy, encourage the creativity of prospective corruptors to adapt, innovate, and modify new modes of corruption," said Firli.

"So that (they, ed) are not revealed, let alone caught while they are in action," he concluded.
