PDIP Hopes Ganjar-Puan And Anies Meeting During Hajj Brings Good

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP Said Abdullah hopes that the meeting of political figures in the Holy Land can bring goodness in the future. This moment is expected to reduce political differences.

This was conveyed by him in response to the meeting of the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani and the presidential candidate (candidate) for the Amendment Coalition Anies Baswedan. The former governor of DKI Jakarta had also previously met with the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo to run in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"Please pray (so, red) that these meetings of national figures will bring goodness in the future," Said said in a written statement, Friday, June 30.

Said stated that Ganjar's meeting with Anies as well as Puan and Anies was not intentional. The three of them are known to be both carrying out the pilgrimage.

"Because we are all both carrying out the pilgrimage, it is only natural that we meet each other. Moreover, the Hajj committee places these figures in the very important category of personnel (VIP), which of course has a limited number, and the available places are also limited. This condition facilitated the meeting of the two," he said.

For information, Puan and Anies accidentally met when the two of them rested at the Guest House in the Mina area, Saudi Arabia at around 19.30 local time. The two of them just finished throwing their heads.

Meanwhile, Ganjar met Anies some time before. In the circulating photo, this white-haired figure appears to be accompanied by his wife, Siti Atiqoh while Anies is accompanied by his wife, Fery Farhati.

At that moment, the Minister of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa was also seen who were both carrying out the pilgrimage.
