This Teenage Girl Desperately Smuggled 16 Packages Of Methamphetamine In Packing Cigarettes To Tulungagung Prison

TULUNGAGUNG - The Class II B Tulungagung Penitentiary Team, East Java thwarted an attempt to smuggle methamphetamine in a pack of two packs of cigarettes brought by a 17-year-old woman while visiting inmates.

"This perpetrator is still a minor. We found drugs when the guards on duty at the entrance to the prison, searched NS's luggage," said Tulungagung Class II B LP Head R. Budiman P. Kusumah in Tulungagung as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 23.

The officers' suspicions were aimed at NS luggage in the form of snacks/food packages and two packs of cigarettes.

When searched and confirmed that NS's response also showed uneasy signs, so the officers then opened one by one the food packages brought along with the two packs of cigarettes.

As a result, 16 small plastic bags containing methamphetamine were found in cigarette packs.

"After we checked there were 16 packages, with a total weight of 13.3 grams of methamphetamine," he explained.

The findings were immediately coordinated with the Tulungagung Resort Police.

LP officers and police then interrogated NS regarding the purpose of the bezuk and the origins of the drugs he wanted to smuggle.

"This civil servant is apparently still the younger brother of a prisoner entrusted with a drug case with the initials DK. Previously, NS had actually visited the LP often to leave food," he said.

NS's confession, on Thursday morning he was contacted by someone via WhatsApp message with the intention of entrusting something for his brother, DK.

"From the examination of the provisional information, if NS does not know if the deposit contains methamphetamine. This is still being investigated by the Tulungagung Police," he said.

It was stated that the perpetrator who supplied the drug-filled goods had been arrested by the police.

"For the perpetrators who left the goods have been arrested, maybe they can coordinate with the ranks of the Satreskoba (Tulungagung Police) for the continuation," he said.
