Ahead of the peak of the Hajj implementation, the Hajj Health Center established a health post during a wukuf in Arafah, Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

"There are about 20 mattresses for pilgrims who need treatment, especially those who are suffering from a stroke there is a place of recovery," said Head of the Haji Liliek Health Center Marhaendro Susilo in Mecca as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.

Liliek said the health workers who will serve in Arafah are health workers who previously served at the airport and from elements of the Emergency Medical Team (EMT) and the Health Promotion Team (Promkes).

In addition, there will be five satellite health posts that are temporarily spread across the congregation's tents, while there is a health post established by the Government of Saudi Arabia so that it is easy for pilgrims to access health services.

Meanwhile, for health services at Mina, Liliek said there would be a large health post and on the traffic route from the tent in Mina to Jamarat which is the location for throwing jumrahs.

The officers prepared are a combination of the First Crisis and Relief Handling Team in the Hajj Congregation (PKP3JH), Congregational Protection, and health workers from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) who will establish posts there.

"There are 5 points in the lower and upper lanes," said Liliek.

Health workers are also preparing an ambulance outside the congregation's tent circle in Mina who will be on standby to bring sick pilgrims, while EMT will go around with medicines.

Liliek also reminded pilgrims that they do not have much activity outside the implementation of the peak Hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armina).

"The temperature is quite high in Mecca, so that pilgrims are not often exposed to sunlight, it is enough to just move at the inn," said Liliek.

Liliek also invited the congregation to reduce the sunnah worship and began to focus on the peak of the pilgrimage.

"Sunah worship is starting to decrease because the main goal is for this Hajj, we will keep it at a time when the pilgrims are healthy and fit," said Liliek.

Liliek said that there are very many elderly pilgrims who have a high risk of around 70-75 percent, so that health workers screen 50 Hajj candidates in each batch to continue to be monitored.

Furthermore, the congregation will be screened to find out about the health condition before attending the peak of the hajj in Armina. If health is not possible, the congregation will be facilitated to take part in the wusuf safari.
