Iwan Bule Ready To Run For West Java Gubernatorial Election

Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Mochamad Iriawan or Iwan Bule admitted that he was ready to carry out orders from the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, to run as a candidate in the West Java gubernatorial election.

"Depending on the general chairman of the order, whatever I carry out," he said before giving a briefing to cadres behind closed doors at the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD office, Semarang, reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 16.

The former chairman of PSSI who is now entering politics revealed that he continues to conduct friendship and consolidation in the regions to win the Gerindra Party and Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 General Election.

"Yesterday I was playing at the western, southern part of Central Java, Banyumas, previously in West Java, I wanted to meet friends who continued to fight for the victory of the Gerindra Party and Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto. I am playing out from yesterday, but for Prabowo and Gerindra I am tireless," he said.

Regarding the results of the Indonesia Political Opinion survey for the period June 2023 which showed Prabowo Subianto as the highest electability figure compared to other presidential candidates, Iwan Bule asked Gerindra Party cadres not to be complacent and continue to fight until they achieve victory.

"My friends and I still have to continue to fight as much as possible in the legislative and presidential elections, especially for Pak Prabowo's victory to become president. We must not be complacent, we must not be careless with the results of the survey," he said accompanied by the Chairman of the Central Java Gerindra Party DPD Abdul Wachid.
