Vice President Visits Qusam Ibb Abbas's Grave The Prophet Muhammad SAW's Cousin In Uzbekistan

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin made a pilgrimage to the tomb of Qusam Ibb Abbas who is a cousin of the Prophet Muhammad today, Friday, June 16, western Indonesia time.

The tomb is located in Shah i Zinda Cemetery Complex in northeastern Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Qusam Ib Abbas is known to be an early Islamic preacher in the central Asian region.

He is a cousin of the Prophet Muhamaad SAW who is said to be the most similar to the Prophet.

In the tomb complex it is written a quote from the Prophet Muhammad SAW who stated "Qusam Ib Abbas is the most like me, both character and appearance".

Shah i Zinda Cemetery Complex where Qusam Ibb Abbas is buried consists of mosques, tombs and places of prayer.

Based on Antara's observation, the burial complex was quite visited by pilgrims, both local and foreign.

Not a few foreign tourists visited there just to capture the magnificent tomb complex building.

After visiting the tomb of Qusam Ibb Abbas, the Vice President and his wife Wury Ma'ruf Amin took the time to stop by Madrasah Tilla Qori at Registon Square, which became one of the icons of Samarkand City.

There, the Vice President and his wife took pictures together in front of the madrasa building complex.

Then the Vice President returned to the hotel to prepare for Friday prayers at the A'zam Jome Mosque.
