Anies Baswedan Meets SBY At The SBY-ANI Pacitan Museum

The presidential candidate promoted by the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP) Anies Baswedan met the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia who is also the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the SBY-ANI Museum and Gallery, Pacitan, East Java.

The group of vehicles carrying Anies arrived at the SBY-ANI Pacitan Museum at around 13.30 WIB and held a closed meeting.

The gate to the museum complex which was built specifically in memory of the late 6th Indonesian first lady Kristiana Herawati or Ani Yudhoyono was immediately closed again as soon as the car group that brought Anies entered.

"This immediately entered the guesthouse at the SBY-ANI Museum Complex. Indeed, there was no information at all about their meeting (Anies, SBY, and AHY)," said Chairman of the DPD National Volunteer Network Anies Baswedan (Jarnas ABW) Pacitan Regency Bambang Widiarsa as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 1.

Until Anies' entourage came out of the museum complex again, not a word had been conveyed by the former governor of DKI Jakarta to the media crew who were already waiting outside the gate.

None of the sources from the Democratic Party or the Anies Volunteer Team provided any information regarding the results of the meeting with SBY.

The closed meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

The meeting of Anies, SBY, and AHY in Pacitan is reportedly in order to strengthen the plan to announce the presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

Anies as the presidential candidate from the Change Coalition is rumored to be announcing his prospective deputy candidate this week or no later than next week.
