Prospective Hajj From North Maluku Cries Asking To Be Returned While In Medina, This Is An Explanation From The Regional Hajj Guidelines

TERNATE - A pilgrim who is a Hajj Candidate (JCH) from North Maluku, Saida Husen, who is a member of Group 10 went viral because he asked to return to the area in West Halmahera Regency, upon arrival in Medina.

"We need to convey that actually the viral video about JCH from West Halmahera Regency is okay, only the fatigue factor due to the journey of the Makassar Hajj embarkation to Medina took 12 hours," said North Maluku Regional Hajj Advisor Chairman Muhammad Zabir as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 1.

When he arrived in Medina, Saida Husen woke up and asked to be sent back to his hometown. Officers and other pilgrims, said Muhammad Zabir, tried to persuade and calm Saidahusen while on the bus.

Muhammad Zabir explained that Saida Husen did have a history of diminsia or unstable thoughts, but his condition is stable and is now being treated at the KKIH Indonesia hospital in Medina.

"We ask the family in West Halmahera Regency not to worry and pray for him, so that he is always healthy and can carry out his worship smoothly," he said.

JCH Maluku in Group 10 arrived in Medina on Wednesday (31/05), while Group 13 and 16 are scheduled to depart from the Makassar Embarkation to the Holy Land from June 2 to 4, 2023.

Meanwhile, North Maluku Deputy Governor Al Yasin Ali asked all coordinators of the Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) and young pilgrims to help each other and pay attention to one another.

"I also ask for special attention from the coordinator to provide the best service, especially for the elderly JCH, so that they can carry out the pillars of the pilgrimage perfectly until they return to the country," he said.

He explained that of the 1,076 prospective pilgrims in North Maluku, 108 of them were at high risk and were intensively undergoing health care, and 42 of them had to use wheelchairs.

Meanwhile, the age of the oldest Maluku JCH is 94 years old, namely Ibrahim and JCHtermuda Rahdi Saputra who is 19 years old from the Sula Islands Regency.
