JAKARTA - Ancol Dreamland Park Corporate Communication, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho, said that more than 35,000 visitors entered the Ancol area, on the first day of the long holiday, namely Thursday, June 1.

Moreover, there is a free ticket program that takes effect from 17.00 to 23.00 WIB which can be ordered one day before arrival (D-1). Therefore, it is estimated that the number of visitors will continue to grow.

"If it comes in the morning, the ticket applies to normal prices. The free ticket will only take effect from 5 pm which can be ordered from D-1," said Eko.

The main area that is expected to be dense is the East Coast area which is quite comfortable for afternoon and evening recreation and many culinary choices on the East Coast.

In addition, there is also the Betawi Culinary Festival which Ancol Management has also prepared to welcome DKI Jakarta's Birthday (HUT) on June 22.

"At the culinary festival, there is also 'live music' and the plan is that at the moment of 'weekend' or the weekend there will be Betawi performances like that," said Eko.

Meanwhile, joint officers from the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) and the local Transportation Service Sub-dept. were deployed to engineer the flow of traffic to the East Gate of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol so that the density would decay.

"Drivers who want to go to the Ancol East Gate are transferred to the red light round of the Bintang Mas Police Post or to the entrance to the West Gate," said North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Head Commissioner Edy Purwanto to reporters in North Jakarta.
