Early Long Weekend, Most Of Indonesia Is Forecasted To Be Sunny And Cloudy

JAKARTA - Most parts of Indonesia are predicted to be cloudy on Thursday, June 1. This is predicted by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

Citing Antara, most of the provincial capitals that are predicted to be cloudy are Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Serang, Bengkulu, Yogyakarta, Central Jakarta, Gorontalo, Semarang, Samarinda, Tarakan, Pangkal Pinang, Ternate, Kupang, Makassar, Manado, Padang, and Palembang. The Surabaya region is predicted to be sunny during the day and night. Meanwhile, Palangka Raya, Bandar Lampung, Mataram, and Mamuju are predicted to be cloudy. Tanjung pinang is forecasted to be cloudy during the day and cloudy cloudy at night. However, BMKG reminded the public to be aware of heavy rain and lightning in the Tarakan region with humidity of 75-90, and Medan with humidity of 60-95.BMKG also asked the public to remain vigilant because some areas are predicted to experience light rain, namely Jambi, Bandung, Banjarmasin, Manokwari, and Jayapura City at night. Meanwhile, several areas such as Pontianak, Ambon, and Kendari have the potential for moderate rain.

BMKG also appealed to the public to be aware of potential flooding that could occur in several provinces, namely Aceh, East Java, North Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. BMKG also reported several areas that have the potential to experience high waves of 2,50-4.0 m, namely the Indian Ocean west of Lampung, South Banten Waters to East Java, and the South Indian Ocean of Java.
