So Severely Damaged Roads In North Labuhanbatu, North Sumatra, Jokowi's Car Turns Back

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and his entourage visited North Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra, to see the damaged road conditions in the area.

The President who arrived by helicopter arrived at the Aekkopan Square (Aekkanopan is a sub-district which is also the capital of North Labuhanbatu Regency) at around 08.30 WIB, Wednesday, May 17.

After interacting with residents, he and his entourage moved to inspect the planned location by car, namely in Parit Alam Village, Senomartani Village, Kualuhhulu District.

However, the President's visit to see the location of the damaged road that went viral in Senomartani Village was not carried out, because only a few kilometers of roads were traversed, the cars being driven were unable to pass the damaged road to the area.

The delegation of Presidents, Deputy Governor of North Sumatra Musa Rajeckshah, Pangdam I/BB Mayen A Daniel Chardien, North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Panca Simanjuntak and North Labuhanbatu Regent Hendriyanto Sitorus and other officials were stopped at Simpang Hutasoit Dusun I Sialangtaji Village, Kualuhselatan District.

The arrival of President Jokowi and Minister of PUPR M Basuki Hendoulyono immediately received a lively welcome from the community. The mothers and fathers and children seemed to be busy visiting the first person in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the President and his entourage saw the damaged road conditions and met with the community, other vehicles behind the group were ordered to turn around to return to Aekkokopan.

Based on information, the President went through the first route from the Tanjung Pasir intersection, Kualuhselatan District to Telukbinjai, Kualiluhhilir District, and the second route from Telukbinjai to Tanjungleidong, Kualuhleidong District.
