Registration For Candidates Ends May 14, Central Java KPU Alerts 4 File Examining Teams

JATENG - Registration for legislative candidates for the 2024 General Election ends on May 14, 2023. The Central Java KPU has prepared four team to examine the registration files for political parties and individuals before the end of registration.

"We have prepared four teams, so they can be parallel, yes, once they are received, they will be handed over to the inspection team. After that, other political parties entered at the same time, the submissions were one by one. However, the examinations could be parallel to four teams," said Central Java KPU chairman Paulus Widyantoro in Semarang, Thursday, May 11, confiscated by Antara.

This, continued Paulus, is because it is predicted that a number of political parties will register in the last days before the closing of registration.

"[Friday 12 May] we will receive many registration documents from individual candidates and political parties," he said.

Therefore, his party has anticipated that the registrant will not be long in waiting for the file examination.

One team that was alerted by the Central Java Provincial KPU consisted of eight examiners who would all go out before the end of registration on May 14, 2023 at 23.59 WIB.

As of Thursday afternoon or the 11th day of registration, the Central Java Provincial KPU has received three registration documents from political parties and seven files from individual candidates.
