Minister Of Health Budi Asks For Differences In Opinion Related To The Health Bill To Be Resolved In Person

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin asked that differences of opinion in the process of discussing the Draft Health Law (RUU) be resolved in a civilized manner. "If we want to achieve a good goal and there is a difference of opinion, we will resolve it civilized (isability)," said Budi Gunadi Sadikin after attending the launch of the Overseas Fellowship Scholarship at the Indonesian Ministry of Health Building, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, May 8. This statement was made by Minister of Health Budi in response to the peaceful demonstration against the Health Bill which involved five health professional organizations in Central Jakarta, today. The organizations are the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI), the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI), the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI), and the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI). The peaceful action was intended to stop the government's discussion of the Omnibuslaw Health Bill. Budi said the Health Bill is an effort by the government to ensure that public health services can improve even better. "The government's goal is to ensure that health services to the community increase, and that's the goal of all health workers as well," he said.
