Furthermore, he said 35 hectares of rice fields were submerged by flash floods and the residents' chili plants were also damaged by five hectares.
Maila also said that currently a number of residents affected by the flash floods had been evacuated to their closest family home.
"We have evacuated the affected residents to the houses of their neighbors and relatives' houses," he said.
In addition, he said that assistance for victims of flash floods and landslides had begun to be received from the Solok Regency Social Service and the Solok Regency BPBD.
