Train Line In Tanjungkarang Amblas, 4 Trains Cancel Departure And Passengers Are Given Compensation

BANDARLAMPUNG - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre IV Tanjungkarang said the land on the train line collapsed resulted in four trains from Tanjungkarang Station and others canceling their departure. Cancellation of departures, passengers have the right to compensation.

"The train lane collapsed at KM 206 + 0 / 2 plots of the route between Gilas - Sepancar, the route collapsed because previously the area was raining," said the Daily Executive of the Public Relations Manager of Divre IV Tanjungkarang M Reza Fahlepi, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 28.

He said that the four morning train trips that were disrupted as a result of the collapse of the road at KM 206+0/2 were two Rajabasa Express train trips from Tanjungkarang Station to Kertapati (PP) and two Kualastabas trains from Tanjungkarang Station to Baturaja (PP).

"Of course, on behalf of KAI Management, Divre IV Tanjungkarang, we apologize to the customers, because of the disruption of train travel and services due to the land on the collapsed train line in the area," he said.

He said that customers affected by the cancellation of the four trips had been given full information regarding the latest conditions related to train travel and could cancel tickets with 100 percent return outside of booking duties.

Reza added that KAI Divre IV Tanjungkarang is currently making various efforts to restore train travel at that location, handling is carried out both in terms of train operational arrangements and train line infrastructure.

KAI also coordinates with related parties to speed up the repair process.

"We are committed to always prioritizing safety, security, and comfort of train travel. Hopefully, the weather will support and landslides will be resolved soon so that the affected railway lines return to normal and train travel can operate smoothly," he said.
