KIB Will Hold A Meeting On Thursday This Week, Bahas Pencapresan Ganjar Pranowo

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Viva Yoga Mauladi confirmed that the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) will hold a meeting on Thursday (27/4) after Ganjar Pranowo is promoted by the PDI-P as a candidate for president in the 2024 election.

"God willing, PAN, Golkar, PPP (KIB) will meet in the Lebaran gathering in Jakarta on Thursday, April 27, 2023," said Viva to Antara in Jakarta, Monday (24/4).

Even so, Viva has not disclosed the exact location of the meeting. He said at the meeting, KIB will discuss the political direction after Ganjar Pranowo's presidential election. "Yes, one that will be discussed," he said.

According to him, KIB will also finalize the decision-making process to determine the candidate pairs to be carried in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

Not only that, continued Viva, the meeting will also follow up on plans to form a grand coalition with the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR) consisting of the Gerindra Party and PKB.

This is in order to add to the social and constituent base so that the candidate pairs to be promoted have great potential to win the presidential election.

"There is also an agenda to eat Ketupat Lebaran and merge mistakes and mistakes so that life is clean again," he added.

Based on the schedule set by the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia, the registration of prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates is scheduled to start from October 19 to November 25, 2023.
