PDIP Still Keeps Political Parties Secret That Will Join The Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said that after his party officially announces the name of Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate who will be promoted in the 2024 presidential election, in the future there will be other political parties who also declare the Governor of Central Java as a presidential reading.

Initially, Hasto said that the new political band would move after the PDI-P announced the name of the presidential reading.

According to him, his party will also communicate political contact with other political parties. It's just that it is still kept secret which parties will be explored.

"Besides that, of course, as we say that the political band will move after Megawati Soekarnoputri announces the presidential candidate, various contacts with other political parties are also carried out, we only apologize for not being able to mention it," said Hasto, accompanied by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Ahmad Basarah, at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday (24/4/2023).

He also signaled that in the future after Ganjar was officially announced as a presidential reading from PDIP, there would be other parties following the declaration of support for the Governor of Central Java to run in the 2024 presidential election.

"We'll just have to wait, that this week a declaration will emerge from other political parties that support the presidential candidate from the PDIP, Mr. Ganjar," he said.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, this politician from Yogyakarta said that the General Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Megawati Soekarnoputeri himself had conveyed a message to Ganjar that he should be a leader and be wise.

"Earlier, we also reminded how the message conveyed by Mrs. Mega to Ganjar that being a leader must be wise and kind, kind and wise, so that seeing the palace is not from the bright side but also the dark side and its responsibility for the interests of the people, nation and state," he said.

"Mr. Mega's message is not only addressed to Pak Ganjar, but also all PDIP cadres, considering that the presidential candidate who is a cadre and party officer from PDIP must be supported as a unit, the collective strength of PDIP that is integrated with the people," he continued.
