H-7, A Total Of 10,953 Passengers Depart From Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport

JAKARTA - Passengers traveling through Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta, creeped up on the H-7 Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri. Based on data obtained from the Lebaran Homecoming Monitoring Post at Halim Perdanakusuma, the number of passengers on D-7 reached 10,953 people, an increase of 4 percent compared to Friday, April 14, reaching 10,500 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers on Sunday afternoon or D-6 Eid was recorded at 3,540 people. "This data has not been fully entered," said the homecoming post officer quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, April 16. One of the aircraft passengers, Dani (35) admitted that he started homecoming this Sunday to meet his family in Surabaya, East Java. "Alhamdulillah, I can go home this year," he said. Previously, the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) noted that there were 412 planes prepared to face the Eid 2023 transportation period.

Director of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operations of the Directorate General of Air Transportation M. Mauludin detailed that the planes ready to carry travelers include: Garuda Indonesia 54 units, Citilink 48 units, Lion Air 86 units, Batik Air 63 units, Wings Air 50 units, Super Air Jet 45 units, Sriwijaya Air 4 units, NAM Air two units, Pelita Air 5 units, IAA 21 units, Transnusa 4 units, Susi Air 25 units, and Trigana Air 5 units. Meanwhile, the number of passengers at Lebaran 2023 is predicted to reach 4,479,688 passengers both international and domestic, or up 44 percent more than Lebaran 2022 which amounts to 3,097,628 passengers.
