There Is No Surge In Homecomers At Gambir Station And Pasar Senen Station

JAKARTA - The volume of long-distance train passengers (KAJJ) at Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station still looks normal on Wednesday, April 12. There has been no increase and density of passengers.

Currently, based on information compiled by VOI from KAI, the number of passengers departing from Pasar Senen Station is around 6,900 passengers. Meanwhile, at Gambir Station, only 3,800 passengers.

"Based on data Wednesday, April 12, 2023, around 500 thousand tickets for the departure of the Eid transportation period from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen have been sold," said Head of Public Relations Daop 1 Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, April 12.

Of this amount, the majority of orders are made for departure schedules on favorite dates such as D-5 to D+1 Eid or 17 to 22 April 2023.

"Based on ticket data sold on these dates, the occupancy rate of passenger volume has reached 89 to 98 percent," he said.

The number of destination cities that are the favorite choices include Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo, Semarang, Tegal, Solo and Bandung.
